With the new Das Erste app you can get even easier to your favorite programs and videos. The new program calendar combines program preview, live stream and videos on past programs at a glance. You can find editorial highlights and personal recommendations orderly and clearly on the homepage. You can find videos quickly and easily via the program calendar, via a AZ and via sections such as documentaries, films, crime novels, news, children, advice or culture and knowledge.
The new area "My first" offers a comprehensive service for users: There you can choose personal favorite rubers such as thriller or culture, subscribe to video series, create your personal playlist and manage and put keywords as a favorite. You will also receive recommendations for what else you might be interested in.
The new Das Erste app also supports Chromecast and offers subtitles to the live stream and most videos - on selected films and documentaries audio description.
